Early this month ICOD Associates celebrated their annual customer and associates appreciation gathering in Jackson Hole Wyoming. The meeting was followed by a visit to the Gran Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park. Gran Teton National Park is located northwestern Wyoming with approximately 310,000 acres in size, the park includes the major peaks of the 40 mile long Teton Range as well as most of the northern sections of the valley known as Jackson Hole. Only 10 miles south of Yellowstone national Park, the two parks are connected by the J.D. Rockefeller Jr. Memorial Parkway. These three protected areas in conjunction with surrounding National Forests constitute the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem which is almost 18 million acres and is one of the largest intact mid-latitude temperate ecosystems in the world.
